Stealth action heist game Thick As Thieves will be priced at $4.99 / €4.99 / £4.99 when it launches for PC via Steam on May 20, and the initial release will serve as an introductory campaign for future content, Megabit Publishing and developer OtherSide Entertainment announced.
“Kilcairn is an early 1900s alternative history city setting we’ve always wanted to explore beyond a single story,” said OtherSide Entertainment CEO Paul Neurath in a press release. “Releasing this introductory campaign gets players into the world of Thick As Thieves and gives them a meaty taste of a world worth returning to.”
The introductory campaign, which will span “at least four hours,” will feature 16 missions set across two dynamic replayable maps, along with six pieces of gear to unlock.
According to Megabit Publishing, the intention going forward is to expand the setting and stories of Thick As Thieves across future content, and the decision to launch as an introductory campaign “reflects the team’s desire to bring players into the world sooner, and to give the team the flexibility to develop additional content informed by how players engage with the game.”
Thick As Thieves is due out for PC via Steam on May 20, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date.
