The I’m Dating a Dark Summoner TV anime adaptation has received a teaser trailer, previewing the some of the experiences of the story’s adventuring party and the aftermath of the lead pair’s one night stand.
I’m Dating a Dark Summoner (Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru) is set to begin airing in October. It adapts the erotic fantasy rom-com manga by Shaoh and focuses on the relationship between the priest Roni and Amona, the demi-human, demonic power-using dark summoner who joins his party.
The Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru manga is serialized on Niconico Manga under the Dra Dra Sharp# brand and has seven volumes as of March 2026.
HIDIVE has picked up the show for streaming and describes the synopsis as such:
A romantic comedy about a bickering couple: Amona, a dark summoner and demi-uman girl who’s too weak to resist her desires, and Roni, an overly serious priest! Roni welcomes Aruni as a new member to his adventuring party. Everyone expected the two would clash and become sworn enemies. But, to their surprise and on their first day together, they have a one-night stand…!
The initial announcement in February described the show as a short anime.
