Age Gap Romcom Manga Koi to Yobuniha Kimochi Warui Gets TV Anime -BB

Romance is tricky business in the newly announced TV anime adaptation of Koi to Yobuniha Kimochi Warui („It’s Gross to Call This Love“), an age gap romantic comedy manga by Mogusu about a rakish 27 year old business man falling madly in love with a 17 year old high school girl who wants nothing to do with him.

The story of Koi to Yobuniha Kimochi Warui follows Ryou Amakusa, an elite businessman who treats his romantic relationships with women as disposable until a chance encounter causes him to fall head over heels for Ichika Arima, a high school girl ten years younger than him who is also the best friend of Ryou’s little sister. Ryou’s too-direct declarations of love make Ichika uncomfortable, and she roundly abuses him at every opportunity, but Ryou takes Ichika’s insults as a sign of affection.

No further details about the Koi to Yobuniha Kimochi Warui TV anime (such as the cast, the staff, and the release date) have yet been revealed. The original Koi to Yobuniha Kimochi Warui manga is serialized in Ichijinsha’s comic POOL digital manga magazine, and the 7th collected volume of the series will be published in-print in Japan on January 24, 2020.
