Catch Yourself Some Drawn Pokémon in Adorable New Merch
Japanese trinket store Asoko, known for its trendy designed accessories that are sold in the heart of Harajuku and Kyoto, is teaming up with Pokémon for some exclusive wares that are bound to draw people in. The chain, which has 6 stores in major city centers in Japan, will open pop-up shops in Sapporo, Osaka, Kochi, and Nagoya to spread the Pokémon cheer.
The 84 collaboration items – created by designers Ifukukazuhiko, known for their work on the Osaka Loop Line and in Vogue magazine, and buggy, one of the in house designers for Asoko – range from 150 yen (US$1.37) for masking tape with the designs to 800 yen (US$7.31) for an umbrella, with note pads, phone cases, and other knick-knack in-between.
You can see the full list of items and prices on the website for the collaboration. ASOKO de Pokémon starts on January 18 in most stores until the last pop-up store is Kochi closes up shop on February 11. The flagship stores are running the collaboration until stock runs out.
