Cells at Work! Smart Phone Collab Offers Forehead Nuzzles
Cells at Work! is once again working feverishly to promote health within the human body, this time with an special collaboration with Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and their „Pabron S Gold W“ cold medication that involves a smart phone app that lets users rub foreheads with the cast of the Cells at Work! TV anime.

By visiting a special website which offers a special QR code, smart phone users can access an app in which Red Blood Cell (CV: Kana Hanazawa), Platelet (CV: Maria Naganawa), and White Blood Cell (CV: Tomoaki Maeno) offer to touch foreheads – a traditional method of testing for a fever in Japan. Pressing against the characters‘ foreheads prompts them to comment on your health.
The app also offers original voice drama and A.S.M.R. („autonomous sensory meridian response„) recordings which simulate the characters talking pleasantly to the users from a close distance. Additionally, if users take a short quiz about cold symptoms and how „Pabron“ is designed to alleviate these symptoms, they can earn limited edition wallpaper for their smartphones.
