A 25-year-old was collared Monday in connection to a brick attack on a cop in late May in Manhattan during the George Floyd protests, police said.

Christopher Cabrera allegedly threw a brick at a 35-year-old officer in front of 80 University Place just before 10:30 p.m May 30, striking the officer in the helmet, according to the NYPD.

The Bronx man then took off across East 11th Street and down Fifth Avenue, cops said.

The officer suffered a cut and bruise on his face and was treated at a nearby hospital, according to cops.

Cabrera was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of assault and riot, police said.
