#3rd Girls’ Frontline Trailer Released as Premiere Draws Near

A third trailer for the anime adaptation of Girls’ Frontline has been released ahead of the show’s January 7 premiere, offering another preview of its cast of T-Dolls and action. Like the first trailer, it features the opening song “Bad Candy” by yukaDD(;´∀｀). 

Earlier this month, the opening sequence of the anime, which is directed by Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway photography director Kentarou Waki, was released.

The anime is based on the “turn-based simulation” mobile game by Mica Team, which was released in 2016. Google Play describes the game as:

The year is 2060.

War has plunged the world into chaos and darkness, and the responsibility of restoring order falls onto those of us who have survived.

Now is the time to revisit your past. Make use of your gift in tactics and command your T-Dolls in the struggle to unveil the far-reaching conspiracy that permeates the world.

The main staff includes Shigeru Ueda (Peach Boy Riverside) as director, Hideyuki Kurata (Made in Abyss) as series composer and scriptwriter, Masaki Yamada (Tiger & Bunny) as character designer, and Takashi Watanabe (Manaria Friends) as music composer. Asahi Production is in charge of the animation production. 

Meanwhile, the cast includes Haruka Tomatsu as M4A1, Nozomi Yamane as M16A1, Emiri Kato as ST AR-15, and Yukari Tamura as M4 SOPMOD II.
