“#86 EIGHTY-SIX TV Anime’s 18th Episode Postponed to November 20”
The production committee for the 86 EIGHTY-SIX TV anime announced earlier today that the 18th episode of the second cour, which was scheduled to broadcast on Japanese TV, will be pushed back a week to November 20 due to “production reasons.” It was further announced that the episode that was scheduled to air on December 11 will also be pushed back a week due to special programming.
Instead of the airing of episode 18 of 86 EIGHTY-SIX, a look back at the first few episodes of this part will be broadcast featuring the voice actors from the series.
The second season of 86 EIGHTY-SIX began on TOKYO MX in Japan on October 2 at 24:00 (effectively, 12:00 AM on October 3), with Crunchyroll streaming the series as it airs. The first season is also streaming on Crunchyroll both subbed and dubbed, who describes the TV anime as such:
Called “Juggernaut,” these are the unmanned combat drones developed by the Republic of San Magnolia in answer to the attacks by the autonomous unmanned drones of the neighboring Empire of Giad, the “Legion”. But they’re only unmanned in name. In reality, they are piloted by the Eighty-sixers—those considered to be less than human and treated as mere tools. Determined to achieve his own mysterious ends, Shin, the captain of Spearhead Squadron, which is comprised of Eighty-sixers, continues to fight a hopeless war on a battlefield where only death awaits him.
