Aniplex has announced Resident Evil: Survival Unit, a new strategy game co-developed with JOYCITY in close collaboration with Capcom. It will launch for iOS and Android across North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Asia.
“Resident Evil: Survival Unit offers a fresh take on the beloved franchise, reimagining the survival horror universe as a real-time strategy experience optimized for mobile platforms, iOS and Android,” reads the press release. “The game is designed to appeal to both longtime fans and new players.”
An online showcase event will be held on July 10 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET. You will be able to watch it on YouTube.
