Publisher Fictions and developer Counterplay Games will release a limited-time demo for roguelite third-person shooter Armatus for PC via Steam on February 23 as part of Steam Next Fest: February 2026 Edition, the companies announced. It will be available until March 2.
“In this demo, embody the last supernatural warrior of an ancient order fighting through the demon-infested ruins of Paris,” reads the announcement. “Experiment with a selection of weapons, upgrades, and abilities as you face demonic horrors hellbent on your destruction. Fight, die, revive, and try again to find your favorite lethal combinations. Then, at the demo’s end, face your first major test, a greater demon named: The Monument.”
Armatus is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2026.
