“#California dad arrested after allegedly shooting son”
A California man was arrested after allegedly shooting his son multiple times during an argument Wednesday, authorities said
Police responded to a home in Antioch before 8 p.m. where they found a 66-year-old man had shot his 33-year-old son, KNTV reported.
The pair was arguing when the father whipped out his gun and opened fire, according to Antioch police.
Responding officers found the son wounded and he was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police didn’t say what the father and son were arguing about. Their identities have not been released.
The father was booked into Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez and faces an attempted murder charge. His bail has been set at $750,000.
