Crunchyroll announced today that its new premium add-on app, Crunchyroll Manga, will launch on October 09, 2025 in the U.S. and Canada, across the iOS and Android stores. Web availability for the new service will follow on October 15, 2025.
Crunchyroll Manga is described by the company as an “ad-free experience” that will feature “hundreds of titles from leading publishers.” Some of the publishers whose titles will be featured include AlphaPolis, COMPASS, Square Enix, VIZ Media, and Yen Press, as well as additional partners such as Shueisha and J-Novel Club, ThirdlineNEXT, and highstone. The company announced that more publishing partner will be announced later in the future.
In addition, some of the highlighted manga series that can be read on the app service include One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, My Dress-Up Darling, The Summer Hikaru Died, Lycoris Recoil, Delicious in Dungeon, Sasaki and Miyano, Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, Maiden of the Dragon: Falling for the Demon’s Lies, and many more titles.

Crunchyroll Manga is powered by Japanese service developer Link-U Group, and will be available as a separate app from the Crunchyroll streaming service.
The company will showcase Crunchyroll Manga at this year’s New York Comic Con in October, where the Crunchyroll booth (#1643) will feature hands-on demos and panels inviting fans to explore select titles on the app service.
Crunchyroll Ultimate Fan subscribers will have Crunchyroll Manga included at no extra cost. The updated pricing for the service on the other subscription tiers is listed as follows:
- • Crunchyroll Fan subscription + Manga — US$11.99 / CAD$15.49 per month (includes Manga add-on at US$4.00 / CAD$5.50)
