A Destiny Unchain Online: How I became the Crimson Devil anime adaptation has been announced.
Originally a web novel by resn (first serialized on Shosetsuka ni Naro before moving to Kakuyomu), Destiny Unchain Online later became a light novel series and a manga, both illustrated by Yachimoto, as well. K Manga describes the synopsis of the latter as such:
Kou Mitsuki is a gamer with god-tier skills, known online as Crim the Headhunter. Right when he starts testing his father’s latest game, Destiny Unchain Online, and the new device developed for it, the bug-ridden system transforms him in into a vampire girl! Everything changes for Kou as he meets new friends and they take on the game… The ultimate gamer adventure awaits!
The light novel series, which is published under Kodansha’s K Ranove Books label, started in 2022 and has three volumes as of June 2026.
