The anime “Edens Zero” has been broadcast on Japanese television since April 2021. Even before that, it was announced that this will also appear worldwide on Netflix (we reported). Now the streaming giant has one specific start date revealed.

The anime adaptation is created in the studio J.C.Staff directed by Yūshi Suzuki and Shinji Ishihara. “Edens Zero” is based on the manga series of the same name by Hiro Mashima (including “Fairy Tail”), which has been published in Japan since 2018. In this country, Carlsen Manga publishes a German translation.

The story begins with Rebecca, a young and ambitious B-Cube influencer who wants to enrich the world with her video blogs. Together with her furry companion Happy Rebecca travels through space to collect new content for her video channel. Happy and Rebecca’s current goal is that Kingdom of Granbell, which is set up like a huge amusement park.
The orphan boy Shiki grew up in the abandoned theme park in the middle of the animatronics. Rebecca is the first person Shiki gets to know in his life and when he becomes friends with her and Happy, his life changes suddenly. The machines, which he previously called his friends, cast him out of Granbell and Shiki has no choice but to join Rebecca and Happy on their way through space. On that day Shiki’s journey into the unknown begins …
