“#Evangelion Collabs With Coolish to Release LCL Inspired Ice Cream”
On a hot summer’s day in Japan, eating a Coolish helps beat the heat and the companies newest collaboration with the popular Evangelion franchise will let people stay cool … by drinking LCL. One has to wonder how much like Tang it will taste like.
In fact, the full name for the flavor is “Coolish LCL Ice Sports Drink Flavor”, inferring that the cool treat is a mix of whatever it is NERV injects into the entry plugs and some sort of Gatorade or Pocari Sweat. That’s one heck of a cocktail!
This is the second collaboration project between Evangelion and Coolish’s parent company Lotte. As part of the second collaboration project, Evangelion characters will also appear on the bottles of ACUO gum with no change in flavor. Honestly, the fact we can’t chew LCL is a missed opportunity.
