A TV anime adaptation of the Gifted manga has been announced with a 2027 broadcast start date. The announcement comes ahead of the 12th volume’s release on June 12, 2026.
The manga, written by Shin Kibayashi and drawn by Rima Amamiya, sees the young police Natsuki Amakusa taking an interest in the strange high schooler Yuya Shiki, who casually solves a complicated murder case while passing by. The series is serialized in Kodansha‘s shojo magazine Nakayoshi, where it debuted in December 2021.
Gifted has inspired a live-action television series.
