#Gundam Breaker Battlogue Trailer Released, October Release Date Announced

Gundam Breaker Battlogue, an upcoming “6-episode short film,” has received its first trailer and a new visual. The show will begin streaming on Gundam Channel in Japan and on Gundam.info internationally in October.

Gundam Breaker Battlogue is part of the Gundam Breaker Battlogue Project and is meant to strengthen the link between the Gundam Breaker video games and the Gunpla model line. The anime’s story involves a new type of battle simulator.

Characters from smartphone game Gundam Battle: GUNPLA Warfare and the PlayStation4 and PlayStation Vita game Gundam Breaker 3 will appear in the anime. There will also be a story mission in Gundam Battle: GUNPLA Warfare that will serve as a prequel to the short anime, and the anime itself can be watched via the game.

Gundam Breaker Battlogue‘s staff includes Masami Obari (Gundam Build Divers Battlogue, Gundam Build Fighters: Battlogue) as director, LEPTON’s Yūichirō Kitaoka (Digimon World: Next Order scenario writer) and Sō Mayumi (Dragon Ball: Xenoverse writer) as scriptwriters, and Kenichi Onuki (Tokyo Revengers co-character designer) and Juri Toida (Gundam Build Divers Battlogue, Gundam Build Fighters: Battlogue) as character designers. Hajime Yatate and Yoshiyuki Tomino are credited with the original story for the anime.

Other staff include Kenta Matsuda (The Irregular at Magic High School) as art director, Hiroyasu Kanemi (CESTVS -The Roman Fighter-) as color designer, Daichi Nogami (Kingdom Season 3) as photography director, and Shinya Kusumegi (Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE co-chief mecha animator) as chief mecha animator.

Additionally, Kunio Ōkawara, Kanetake Ebikawa, Kotaro Ando (Studio GS), Kyoryu Kuramochi, Kyoshi Takigawa, and Naohiro Washio are credited with the mecha designs. Yuriko Chiba (Maria the Virgin Witch) is credited for the Gundam Breaker 3 character designs, while taiki is credited for the Gundam Breaker Mobile character designs.

The cast includes Yuka Iguchi as Misa Satsukino, Kenshō Ono as Ryūsei Fudō, Rie Takahashi as Sana Miyama, Yūki Ono as Tōma Aizen, and Tomokazu Sugita as Kadomatsu.
