Guy Ritchie has exited as the director Amazon MGM Studios‘ sequel movie Road House 2.
Jake Gyllenhaal is set to return in the role of Dalton, which he played in Amazon’s 2024 remake feature Road House that was directed by Doug Liman.
Will Beall is penning the script for Road House 2. Producers include Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Alex Gartner, along with Jake Gyllenhaal and Josh McLaughlin for Nine Stories Productions.
The Road House franchise originated with the 1989 feature from director Rowdy Herrington that starred Patrick Swayze as a bouncer at a roadside bar in a town dealing with a shady businessman.
