“#Halloween Visual for Goodbye, Don Glees! Movie Released”
The upcoming Goodbye, Don Glees! movie has received a special Halloween visual to mark the occasion, with the visual depicting protagonists Rouma Kamogawa, Hokuto “Toto” Mitarai, and Shizuku “Drop” Sakuma dressed as a wizard, vampire, and ghost respectively.
Goodbye, Don Glees!‘s previous visual also featured a fun theme, with said visual depicting the characters of A Place Further Than The Universe (which shares the same director and character designer) visiting a theater to watch the anime.
Goodbye, Don Glees! is a teenage adventure movie, with a trailer describing it as being about the “summer adventure of 3 boys who don’t know the world yet.” It is set to release in Japan in 2022.
The staff includes Atsuko Ishizuka (A Place Further Than the Universe) as director and scriptwriter, Takahiro Yoshimatsu (A Place Further Than the Universe, Hunter × Hunter) as character designer, Ayano Okamoto (Mieruko-chan) as art director, Harue Ohno (A Place Further Than the Universe) as color designer, YuukiKawashita (Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro) as photography director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (A Place Further Than the Universe) as music composer. Madhouse is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the film’s cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Rouma Kamogawa, Yuuki Kaji as Hokuto “Toto” Mitarai, and Ayumu Murase as Shizuku “Drop” Sakuma.
