YouTube channel The Gaming Shelf has announced Indie Quest 2025, a new showcase spotlighting independently developed JRPGs. It will premiere on YouTube on May 29 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET.
The broadcast will feature over 40 exclusive game trailers, a “must-see world premiere from a critically-acclaimed studio,” and popular YouTube creators introducing each game.
“From tactical throwbacks to inventive turn-based experiments, Indie Quest celebrates the full spectrum of what modern Indie JRPGs can be,” reads the announcement. “Whether you’re a fan of pixel art nostalgia or boundary-pushing new mechanics, this showcase promises something for every RPG enthusiast—and some new surprises along the way.”
