#Iraq war veteran bus driver fights off mugger attacking elderly woman

A hero bus driver and Iraq war veteran stopped in the middle of his route to fight off a mugger trying to rob an elderly woman in Hungary, new video shows.

Ex-soldier Károly Zsolt Kis was caught on his bus’ surveillance video, obtained by The Sun, pulling over to stop the thief, who attempted to wrestle a handbag from the grey-haired woman using a walking stick in the northeastern city of Miskolc.

Kis swerved to the other side of the road and got out to shove the mugger.

He then appeared to confront the attacker, who was loitering at a distance.

He stayed with the elderly woman to make sure she was OK, before ushering her onto his bus and continuing to drive.
