Isaiah Rashad, FADER cover star and member of TDE alongside Kendrick Lamar and SZA, has returned with new music. “Lay Wit Ya” features Duke Deuce and comes with a stylish black and white video. Check it out below.
“Lay Wit Ya” follows the news that Rashad will release new album The House Is Burning in June. It is the rapper’s first album since 2016 debut The Sun’s Tirade.
Speaking about the album in his FADER cover story, Rashad said his aim was to make something enjoyable following a period of personal trauma. “I just wanted this shit to sound fun,” he said. “If I’m sad, people don’t need to be able to tell. And this is probably my most depressing album.”
