A special collaboration visual has been released for the ongoing Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia and The Ghost in the Shell TV anime series. Science SARU is in charge of the animation production for both series, which are also both airing during the Summer 2026 anime season.
The collaboration visual was illustrated by Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia director Abel Gongora, which shows a Fuchikoma presenting a flower to Sitara.

Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia began broadcasting in Japan on July 4, 2026 with two back-to-back episodes. It is streaming on Crunchyroll in select countries and territories worldwide.
The anime is based on Tomato Soup’s historical manga series, which began serialization on Akita Shoten’s Souffle website on September 25, 2021. It has also been serialized in Mystery Bonita magazine since March 6, 2025 and is known in Japan as Tenmaku no Jaadugar. Six tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of July 2026.
Yen Press releases the manga in English under the title A Witch’s Life in Mongol and describes the synopsis as:
The time: the thirteenth century. The place: Yeke Mongol Ulus, the greatest empire the world has ever known. The woman: Fatima, hailing from Persia, where medical technique and scientific knowledge have been perfected beyond all precedent. Fatima’s desire for a stage where she can put her knowledge to work has brought her to the palace of the Mongols, where she falls under the wing of Töregene, the sixth wife of Ögedei, the second Great Khan—a mighty woman with complicated feelings about the direction of the empire. Meanwhile, The Ghost in the Shell 2026 TV anime series began airing in Japan on July 7, 2026.
It is based on Shirow Masamune’s cyberpunk manga, which first debuted in the May 1989 issue of Young Magazine Kaizokuban, a special supplement of Kodansha’s seinen magazine Young Magazine.
Prime Video is exclusively streaming The Ghost in the Shell in select countries and territories worldwide, except in Russia and China (with an exclusive early window for Japan). Its synopsis is described as:
The year is 2029. In near-future Japan, where the world has become highly information-intensive, with a vast corporate network covering the planet, electrons and light pulsing through it. But the nation-state and ethnic groups still survive. Motoko Kusanagi, a full-body cyborg, leads an elite combat unit, including Batou. While commanding her team, Kusanagi envisions the creation of a specialized task force to preemptively strike against emerging threats.
Meanwhile, Daisuke Aramaki of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who had been planning to establish a similar unit, recruited Kusanagi and her team.
