White House adviser Jared Kushner will be aboard the first commercial flight between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, according to a report.

Kushner, who is married to first daughter Ivanka Trump, helped orchestrate the UAE’s normalization of relations with Israel this month after previously working on an Israel-Palestinian peace plan.

“Jared Kushner & other US officials will escort Israeli government officials to the United Arab Emirates on the first-ever commercial flight between the 2 countries, expanding on a commitment by the White House to broker normalized relations,” CNN reporter Vivian Salama reported Tuesday on Twitter. “This trip is scheduled to take place next week.”

White House spokespeople did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The oil- and natural gas-rich UAE, which contains Dubai, is the third Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with Israel. Egypt did so in 1979 and Jordan did in 1994.

Also on Tuesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo traveled from Israel to Sudan on the first non-stop flight between the countries, though the African nation does not yet have diplomatic relations with Israel.
