The TV anime adaptation of Ikoku Nikki: Journal with Witch has received a trailer and a key visual, as well as a January 2026 release date.
Some cast announcements were also made:

Ikoku Nikki – Journal with Witch is based on the Shodensha-published manga by Tomoko Yamashita. It started running in the joseimuke magazine Feel Young in 2017 and released its 11th and final volume in 2023. The story sees a shy novelist taking in her 15-year old orphaned niece.
The manga placed first in the Book of the Year 2023 comic category of KADOKAWA’s Da Vinci magazine ranking. It also inspired a 2024 live-action movie adaptation.
