Japanese virtual artist KAF has opened pre-orders for her upcoming fourth full-length album Fable on Bandcamp, which will arrive on December 25, 2024. Pre-orders for the album were first opened earlier this month and will be sold for 2,200 yen (US$14.23), before tax.
The release of Fable comes after KAF’s solo concert at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium earlier this past January and her most recent overseas show in Singapore at the end of November.
Fable is described as an album that thematically “explores both ‘loss’ and ‘gain’” and marks KAF’s collaboration with a variety of different producers, aside from her usual collaborator, Iori Kanzaki.

KAF has been signed and managed under Tokyo-based Kamitsubaki Studio, which has developed several artists and virtual reality video games since last September. The company has amassed a virtual user-participation community of over 20,000 users since 2019, specializing in alternate reality game and role-playing game experiences.
KAF will also be part of the voice cast in the upcoming Kamitsubaki City Under Construction TV anime series, which will premiere in Japan in 2025.
