“Kodak Black Performs Adorable Rendition Of ‘Usain Boo’ With His Son”
The festivities included performances from Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee, Rylo Rodriguez, Yungeen Ace and others. Travis Scott and French Montana even stopped by as special guests, but the celebration’s most memorable moment came when Kodak brought out his son to perform his Back For Everything cut “Usain Boo.”
In a video captured of the moment, the 7-year-old can be seen rapping all the words perfectly as dad takes a back seat for most of the track.

The festival went down in Pompano Community Park, and was put into place after the “Super Gremlin” rhymer was honored with his own day by Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness in 2021.
Per TMZ, Kodak said upon receiving the proclamation that the honor meant more to him than a platinum album. The proclamation also noted Kodak’s charitable work over the years, which was what initially convinced President Trump to grant him clemency in 2020.
Festivities aside, Kodak said during a press conference that he and Drake have enough unreleased music together to make an album. He said he’s pretty much just waiting for the go-ahead from the 6 God himself.
“Me and Drake, we got some more music,” Kodak said. “It’s really on like whenever bruh might feel like he ready and stuff. They be like, ‘Is we gon’ drop the album? We gon’ do this?’ It’s really on him. We got a lot of songs though.”
