Watch an hour of guided meditation at The FADER offices with multi-hyphenate Laraaji.
Ambient composer and multi-instrumentalist Laraaji makes his “celestially guided” music by channeling the energy around him. When he stopped by The FADER offices in May alongside Brooklyn collaborator Leon Kelly, the pair offered to lead the crew in guided meditation. Of course we had to say yes.
The duo also gave us a first listen of their new single “Selah” with Dudde, out now. Built around Laraaji’s unfurling zither, “Selah” molts and flutters, resonances emerging, shuffling, collapsing.
Kelly and Laraaji’s meditation session was sort of like that too: what started as a friends and family affair soon interrupted all work at the office as FADER staff laid on the floor and let the energy fields guide them.
