Davido has shared a new track titled “Stand Strong,” the first single from his fourth studio album, due out later this year, title and release date TBA. It’s an upbeat, inspirational jam about persevering in the face of adversity — a soundtrack for pushing past your quotidian troubles.
Produced by Pheelz and featuring The Samples Choir (best known for their work on Ye’s Sunday Service series), there’s enough good feeling on the track to part the darkest of rain clouds. It arrives as the Nigerian singer prepares to embark on a five-date North American tour in June.
