A key visual, trailer, main theme songs, and additional cast members have been revealed for the second cour of the ongoing Liar Game TV anime series. The anime first premiered in Japan on April 6, 2026 and is running for two consecutive cours.

The theme songs for the anime’s second cour, which are both highlighted in the latest trailer, include the opening theme “All in” by Japanese rock band Kroi, while the ending theme is “Still Not Enough” by three-piece band muque.
An English-subtitled version of the trailer has also been released.
Additionally, the new voice cast members joining the anime series include:

Yuzo Sato (The Gene of AI director) is serving as chief director for the anime series, with Asami Kawano (The Vampire Dies In No Time assistant director) as director, Tatsuhiko Urahata (Baki Hanma) as series composer and screenwriter, Kei Tsuchiya (Trillion Game) as character designer, and Kisuke Koizumi (Trillion Game, My Happy Marriage) as sound director. Madhouse is handling the animation production.
The suspense manga series by Shinobu Kaitani ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine from February 17, 2005 to January 22, 2015. A total of 19 tankobon volumes were published in Japan. Another short manga series by Kaitani was launched in February 2026.
The manga also inspired a Japanese live-action TV drama, a Korean live-action TV drama, a live-action film, and a stage play.
REMOW licensed the series for global streaming in August 2025.
