The 2024 Roots Picnic line-up has been announced with Lil Wayne and festival organizers The Roots teaming up for a celebration of New Orleans. They are joined by fellow headliners Jill Scott and Nas while André 3000 will present his 2023 album New Blue Sun live. The festival takes place at the Mann in Fairmount Park, in Philadelphia, on June 1 and 2.
The festival also has a ton of big names further down the bill, with Gunna, Sexyy Red, Tyla, Babyface, and Victoria Monét all appearing across the weekend. There are also some intriguing looking special collaborations; Black Thought, Redman, and Method Man will take to the stage with DJ J. Period, multi-instrumentalist Adam Blackstone will perform with Muni Long and Fantasia, while the New Orleans spirit will continue as Scarface and Amerie are joined by a go-go band.
