“#LiSA Secures 13th Straight Week at the Top with Demon Slayer Single”

The record-shattering Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train may have dropped momentarily in its 13th week thanks to the power of Gintama, but LiSA's single from the film shows no signs of slowing down. The latest Oricon report has the anison singer's 17th single "Homura" sitting on the top of the digital single charts for its 13th consecutive week.
In its 11th week, "Homura" broke the all-time longest record for being on the charts. Thus, LiSA continues to update her own record! This week had the single notching another 26,000 digital downloads, bringing the cumulative number of downloads to 843,000.
As 2020 came to a close, "Homura" won the top honor of the Japanese music industry when it took home the Grand Prix of the 62nd Japan Record Awards. Meanwhile, the music video—which went live on October 12—currently sits at over 126 million views on YouTube.
