#Marika Looks Fierce in 10th Anniversary Visual for Bodacious Space Pirates TV Anime

It’s nearly been 10 years since the space pirate in a miniskirt, Marika Katou, became the captain of the Bentenmaru after her father passed. Katou’s adventure began in the Bodacious Space Pirates TV anime on January 8, 2012, and continued until June 30 of the same year, adapting Yuichi Sasamoto‘s light novel series Miniskirt Space Pirates. To celebrate, a new visual for the series was released with Marika looking very bodacious.

Bodacious Space Pirates is also getting a rebroadcast in celebration of its 10th anniversary on BS11 in Japan starting January 3. The full series is streaming here on Crunchyroll, which describes the TV anime as such:

Marika Katou is a freshman in high school who lives on the planet “Umi no Akehoshi” somewhere in space. One day, she is told that her father, who she thought was dead, was actually alive until just a while ago, and was the captain of the space pirate ship Bentenmaru. And she also finds out that they need her, his heir, to be captain so that they can keep flying! Marika begins a new life as a high school girl, and as captain of the pirate ship Bentenmaru!
