V Publishing and developer Bad Ridge Games have announced the “Seafarers” update for Medieval life simulation RPG Mirthwood, which introduces life at sea and a new way to play. It will launch later in 2026.

This expansion to the immersive medieval fantasy RPG adds new story elements, new characters, challenging quests, update-specific gameplay mechanics, a slew of new cosmetics, and so much more. The Mirthwood Seafarers Update goes live alongside online multiplayer, where you and a friend can batten down the hatches together from anywhere later this year!
