The music channel MTV is broadcasting a two-hour anime hits special this Thursday. That awaits you!
The German offshoot of MTV has a long history with anime. Already at the beginning of the 00s, series like “Golden Boy” or “Lupin III” were broadcast in the late-week program. Now the broadcaster is thinking back a bit to its roots in Germany and is bringing another music special this week, which is dedicated to the theme of anime.
So runs on this one Thursday May 4th from 8:30 p.m a roughly 2 hour one «MTV Collection: Anime Hits»-Special on MTV Germany. The broadcaster announced this in a social media post last week and is now also included in the EPGs announced. The broadcaster does not reveal which anime series the songs or music videos are played from. The last special featured Japanese songs from “Naruto”, “One Piece” and “Mirai”.
