“#Neil Young Announces After the Gold Rush 50th Anniversary Reissue”
Neil Young has announced the details of a 50th anniversary reissue of his 1970 album After the Gold Rush. It’ll be out digitally and on CD on December 11 (via Reprise). The deluxe vinyl box set will follow on March 19, 2021. Included with the 50th anniversary reissue is a previously unreleased version of “Wonderin’.”
Earlier this year, Young released his “lost” album Homegrown, which he recorded in 1974 and 1975 but had shelved until June. He followed that with an EP called The Times in September, which he recorded at home on an iPad as part of his Fireside Sessions.
Young has a pair of other releases on the way in November: the Return to Greendale live album and concert film on the 6th, followed by The Archives Vol. II: 1972-1976 on the 20th.
