#New Sonny Boy Trailer Previews Its Second Half

The currently airing Sonny Boy has released a new “long PV,” which offers a preview of the second half of the show. 

Sonny Boy follows 36 middle school students who are suddenly transported to a different dimension, where some of them receive supernatural powers. The anime is on its sixth episode, which the new trailer includes footage of,  at the time of writing.

The show is directed and written by Shingo Natsume (One Punch Man, Boogiepop and Others), with other staff including Norifumi Kugai (ACCA: 13) as character designer, Hisashi Euguchi (Perfect Blue) as the original character designer, Mari Fujino (Dororo) as art director, Satoshi Hashimoto (BEASTARS) as color designer, and Akane Fushihara (No Game, No Life Zero) as photography director. Madhouse is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Aoi Ichikawa (Magical Sempai) as Nagara, Saori Ōnishi (Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Season 2) as Nozomi, Aoi Yūki (Rent-a-Girlfriend) as Mizuko, and Chiaki Kobayashi (Moriarty the Patriot) as Asakaze. 

The show also features a number of contributing artists for its music, including Sunset Rollercoaster, VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, The Natsuyasumi Band, mitsume, Ogawa & Tokoro, Mid-Air Thief, Kaneyorimasaru, toe, and Conisch.
