Two key organizers for the “No Kings” protests that have drawn millions across the country are launching an activist-minded podcast with Lemonada Media.
Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin are premiering a weekly political podcast called What’s the Plan on Jan. 30, representatives announced on Friday. The two are co-founders and co-executive producers of Indivisible, a progressive organization devoted to counteracting policies from President Donald Trump and electing left-leaning leaders, with chapters across the country.
Together, they worked with other progressive groups across the U.S. to organize the mass “No Kings” demonstrations in June and October 2025 to protest the Trump administration’s use of power. Organizers say the events drew more than 5 million and 7 million people, respectively.
The show is inspired by weekly calls that Greenberg and Levin host with activists on Zoom to discuss current affairs, events Indivisible says have drawn thousands. The show will “provide a practical and accessible guide to the week’s most important political news, along with clear actions listeners can take to defend democracy,” according to their representatives.
“With democracy under attack, people need more than the truth. They need a plan,” Levin said in a statement. “This podcast grows directly out of our weekly conversations with grassroots organizers and is about cutting through the noise to give people a clear blueprint for how we fight back and protect our democracy together.”
Greenberg said in a statement that the podcast would provide “clarity, urgency, and collective action” at an overwhelming time. ”We want listeners to feel empowered with a clear action plan to defend our democracy – week by week,” she said.
The show will join Lemonada Media’s personality-driven slate of podcasts, which includes Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know, Wiser Than Me With Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Confessions of a Female Founder With Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. On Wednesday, THR reported that the company had struck a streaming deal with CNN to bring video podcasts to the news organization’s website and CNN-connected TV and mobile apps.
“We have been so impressed with the work being done by Indivisible and we are eager to help them amplify their important message to our audience,” Lemonada CEO Stephanie Wittels Wachs said in a statement. “Since day one, offering actionable solutions to help people who feel overwhelmed or hopeless has been a part of our Lemonada DNA.”
