“#NYPD cop reportedly arrested for role in Long Island drug distribution ring”

An NYPD officer is among three charged in an alleged Long Island drug distribution ring, according to media reports.
The officer, who is from West Islip, and two others are expected to be arraigned this afternoon in Suffolk District Court, according to a press release.
District Attorney Timothy Sini and Suffolk County Police Commissioner Geraldine Hart are expected to hold a press conference after the arraignment.
