The newest trailer also highlights singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s main ending theme song “Pang Pang Pang.”
The two additional voice cast members joining the series include Atsumi Tanezaki as Nazo no France Pan and Kana Hanazawa as the narrator. Tanezaki is well-known for voicing Anya Forger in Spy x Family, while Suwabe voices Jin Kagemori in Daemons the Shadow Realm.

Meanwhile, the previously announced voice cast will star Ayaka Asai as Pan Dorobo, Aki Toyosaki as Nise Pan Dorobo, and Junichi Suwabe as Panya no Ojisan
Takahiko Kyogoku (Love Live!, Love Live! Superstar!!, GATE Season 1) is directing the anime series, with Miyakomako (You and I Are Polar Opposites) as character designer and Mariko Mochizuki as series composer. Shin-Ei Animation is handling the animation production.
The anime adaptation is based on the original children’s picture book series by Keiko Shibata, which was first published by Kadokawa in April 2020. The series’ seventh and latest book was released in Japan in September 2025.
In its earnings results report for the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2025, Kadokawa listed the Pan Dorobo series as its best net sales performer in the Publication/IP Creation segment for books and magazines. It ranked above titles like Sword Art Online and Delicious in Dungeon and was the sixth top performer overall.
