The Texas Rangers will look to Lance Lynn to help a squad that has lost eight games in a row. Lynn has given up two runs or fewer in all five of his starts this season and has posted a 3-0 record to go with a 1.37 ERA and hasn’t walked a batter in his past two starts.

He will be opposed by Athletics phenom Jesus Luzardo, who has given out 3.7 walks per nine innings, but has allowed only one home run per nine innings. Oakland has won all four of his starts this season.

Luzardo has been the beneficiary of the team scoring at least four runs in all four of his starts, but the team entered Saturday tied for 25th in MLB in batting average and was fourth-worst in the MLB in strikeouts per game.

Though the Rangers were last in the majors in home batting average, they are facing an Athletics team that had a 2.60 ERA at home, but a 4.87 ERA on the road. As a result, the Rangers should get just enough offense to help Lynn get the team to a win.

The Play: Rangers, 125.
