Last year, the surprise was great when RTLZWEI established an anime block again after more than 10 years. This consisted of the cult series «Mila Superstar», «Sailor Moon» and «Dragon Ball». The ratings were consistently good (we reported), until RTLZWEI stopped «Sailor Moon» and «Dragon Ball» prematurely in August 2023 and repeated it again from the beginning. The ratings immediately plummeted and two months later the anime block was discontinued.
Now RTLZWEI has renewed its license package and will continue to broadcast “Sailor Moon” and “Dragon Ball” where they were no longer allowed to broadcast in 2023. It starts with the new anime block on Sunday, 01. September 2024 and as we have learned today from RTLZWEI, every Sunday!
At «Sailor Moon» goes each around 11:00 am continues with season 3, or episode 90. Fans of Bunny Tsukino and her friends can expect three episodes in a row in their fight against evil.
At «Dragon Ball» go to Episode 84 The series will continue Sundays around 12:30 with three episodes in a row.
The block concludes with 13:55 three episodes the first season «Pokémon»Relive the beginnings of Ash Ketchum on his adventures through the Alabastia region.
