#RTLZWEI is canceling its anime program from January

Bye, bye anime on Sunday. RTLZWEI is pulling the plug again just four months after the return of the anime channel.

On September 1st, RTLZWEI confidently launched a Sunday anime block consisting of “Sailor Moon”, “Pokémon” and “Dragon Ball”. After a brilliant start, the block quickly developed into a real ratings disaster. The result was cuts and program changes. Most recently, “Pokémon” was banished to early morning and “Dragon Ball” was expanded to accommodate this. Now they’re pulling the plug on the entire block: From January onwards, there will be an end to anime on RTLZWEI.

There will be one last anime this time Sunday, December 22nd. give. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m RTLZWEI broadcasts the first three “Dragon Ball” feature films (we reported).

In the future, the program will be filled with the documentary soap “Bargain Houses – The Dream of Owning Your Own Home”, of which there will be a marathon lasting several hours every Sunday. The ratings flop “X-Factor,” which ran before the anime, will remain in the program. If anything changes to the planning, we will of course report it immediately.
