Publishers TOHO Games and Edelweiss, and developer G2 Studios have announced Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan, a “rice cultivation simulation x exploration battle RPG” coming to PC via Steam, iOS, and Android as a free-to-play title with item-based microtransactions. A release date was not announced.
It should be noted that this title is separate from Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation, a spin-off of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin announced by publisher Marvelous and developer Edelweiss back in November 2024.
A teaser visual for Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan was released alongside the launch of the game’s official website and Twitter account, which features Sakuna (voiced by Naomi Oozora) in a new outfit, and new character Hinuka (voiced by Machico).
Further details were not announced.
