Following a Pikmin 3 Deluxe rating earlier this week, Pan European Game Information has also rated a Switch 2 version of Splatoon 3.
Splatoon 3 first launched for Switch on September 9, 2022. Nintendo has yet to announce plans to release a Switch 2 version of the game.
The game has received consistent updates since its launch, with the most recent being on September 3, 2025. An update optimizing the visuals and frame rate for Switch 2 was released on June 12, 2025.
