I know everything I am looking for is here, watch movies, watch series, education, games, exams, news, current events and many more.
“How to Get Filthy Rich with Gary Stevenson | TAKE ONE Magazine Watch Online” YouTube has long been choc-a-bloc with quality documentary makers filming with minimal bedroom setups, splicing stock footage with fun effects. These films cut through to audiences who feel alienated by traditional journalism, but who crave something more thorough than Instagram Reels…
“Resident Evil | TAKE ONE Magazine | Watch Online” Resident Evil is a game franchise caught between two identities: action-adventure and survival horror. This identity crisis nearly destroyed the series in its sixth entry when it went all in on being a high-octane actioner. The RESIDENT EVIL movie franchise, driven by Paul W. S. Anderson,…
“The Saviors | TAKE ONE Magazine | Watch Online” THE SAVIORS is an accomplished debut from Kevin Hamedani that pivots on engaging performances, chiefly from Adam Scott. Although it has interesting things to say about xenophobia, suspicion, and acceptance, it holds its most interesting cards in reserve for a hand it never ends up playing….
“Bitter Christmas | TAKE ONE Magazine | Watch Online” As early as 1987’s LAW OF DESIRE, Pedro Almodóvar has enjoyed making films focusing on the romantic, creative, sexual and spiritual lives of artists, quite often film directors. Not exclusively, of course, but it’s safe to say that the Spanish auteur feels comfortable in the realm…
“Leviticus | TAKE ONE Magazine Watch Online” Organised religion provides many people with a place in which they feel they belong; a community of like-minded people can save a lost soul or offer hope to the lonely. “The End of Oak Street | TAKE ONE Magazine Watch Online” Adopting a 1980s classical, Spielbergian sense of wonder, THE END OF OAK STREET is a CGI-heavy dino flick that chickens out of the gorier horror elements that have clearly been sanitised for a wider audience reach. It has been eight years since David Robert…
“Obsession | TAKE ONE Magazine | Watch Online” Curry Barker’s studio debut OBSESSION is by far the most impressive output of the recent YouTube alumni, sitting alongside the massive success of creator backed horror films like Kane Parsons’s BACKROOMS and Mark Fischbach’s IRON LUNG. The film is at once familiar, with a simple premise, but…
“Eagles of the Republic | TAKE ONE Magazine | Watch Online” Tarik Saleh’s EAGLES OF THE REPUBLIC opens by drawing attention to the constructed nature of cinema. What appears to be the film’s beginning is revealed as a film within the film, immediately focusing the story on performance, image-making, and political manipulation. The film centres…
Screen-time apps aren’t effective for many people because, in the end, they depend on your willpower. They remind you to stop scrolling or let you set timers, but such notifications can be easy to ignore. Autonomous Key takes a different approach to this issue simply by being a physical device. It’s an NFC key that…
“The Odyssey | TAKE ONE Magazine Watch Online” Standing almost alone in the landscape of modern cinema, few directors are making films on the scale afforded to Christopher Nolan. THE ODYSSEY feels like a culmination of sorts for the filmmaker. If elements of MEMENTO still echo through his filmography, then THE ODYSSEY shows the enduring…
