The upcoming Tank Chair TV anime has received a main trailer, key visual, and October 4 broadcast start date. Theme song details and additional cast members were also announced.
“DALALA” by SiM will serve as the opening theme song, while Daoko‘s “SYNC” is the ending song. For the cast announcements, Yurina Amami and Gen Sato are voicing as Dr. Radio and Uzu, respectively. Their characters are teased in the new trailer along with the pink-haired Sensei, whose voice actor wasn’t revealed.
Tank Chair is an adaptation of the Kodansha-published manga by Manabu Yashiro. Kodansha USA describes the manga’s synopsis as such:
Tadahiro Yoshihara (Star Wars Visions Volume 3 “The Bird of Paradise,“ Sword Art Online: Unanswered//butterfly) and Hiroaki Ando (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea, Ajin: Demi-Human) areco-directing the anime at Polygon Pictures. Yoshihara is also handling the series composition and co-writing the episode scripts with Ando.
The Tank Chair manga began serialization on Magazine Pocket in November 2022 and came to Monthly Comic Sirius in November 2024. There are 10 volumes as of March 2026.
