#Tensei Kenja no Isekai Raifu Gets Anime Adaptation

An anime adaptation of the Tensei Kenja no Isekai Raifu ~ Dai Ni no Shokugyou wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita (roughly meaning “The Reincarnated Sage’s Isekai Life ~I Obtained a Second Profession and Became the Strongest in the World~”) light novels has been announced.  

REVOROOT is in charge of the animation production, while details about the staff, cast, and release date are currently unknown. 

The Tensei Kenja no Isekai Raifu light novels are written by Shotou Shinkou and illustrated by Huuka Kazabana. The first volume was released in May 2018, with the seventh volume released in November 2020. A manga adaptation by Ponjea began in July 2018 and released its 10th volume in November 2020. 

The story follows Yuuji, a black company corporate slave who is suddenly summoned to another world where statuses and skills exist. In that world, Yuuji has the occupation of a monster tamer, which makes it difficult for him to become an adventurer. However, together with the help of some slimes, Yuuji achieves a second profession, that of being a sage, and unknowingly gains immense power in the process.

Announced alongside the Tensei Kenja no Isekai Raifu anime was the anime adaptation of The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest, which is based on another light novel series by Shinkou and Kazabana.
