A trailer and key visual for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 have been released.
It was also announced that the opening song is “Esoragoto” by Eir Aoi, while the ending song is “Katsubo” by CiON.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 will begin airing on April 3. The show will have a five cours length, with the first two to air consecutively.

The show is inspired by Taiki Kawakami‘s Kodansha-published manga adaptation of the isekai fantasy light novels by Fuse. Kodansha USA describes the synopsis as such:
As players of Monster Hunter and Dungeons & Dragons know, the slime is not exactly the king of the fantasy monsters. So when a 37-year-old Tokyo salaryman dies and wakes up in a world of dragons and magic, he’s a little disappointed to find he’s become a blind, boneless slime monster.
Mikami’s middle age hasn’t gone as he planned: He never found a girlfriend, he got stuck in a dead-end job, and he was abruptly stabbed to death in the street at 37. So when he wakes up in a new world straight out of a fantasy RPG, he’s disappointed but not exactly surprised to find that he’s not a knight or a wizard but a blind slime demon. But there are chances for even a slime to become a hero…
The anime’s first season premiered in 2018. Outside the main TV series, there is a spin-off titled The Slime Diaries, 2022’s That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond, and an OVA based on the short story that inspired Scarlet Bond.
February 27, 2026 saw the premiere of a second anime film, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea (Gekijoban Tenseishitara Slime Datta Ken: Sokai no Namida-hen). The movie will begin screening in North America on May 1.
