#The Microphones Announce 2022 Tour

Phil Elverum is going on tour as the Microphones. The 2022 run will start in mid-February in California before concluding a few weeks later in Washington, D.C., with two Canadian dates also for early March. The tour includes support from Ragana and Emily A. Sprague. See the full itinerary below.

Last summer, Phil Elverum released Microphones in 2020, a 44-minute track that was his first new music as the Microphones since 2003’s Mount Erie. He followed it with an accompanying short documentary and photo book. He’s more recently released an album of ambient noise with the utilitarian title Foghorn Tape.
